Research and Innovation
Fellows and members of our global learning community are applying Polarities of Democracy to social challenges and working to create initiatives that disrupt oppression and move toward the promise of democracy for all. A significant body of
social change research has been completed using the Polarities of Democracy framework, and additional studies and initiatives are underway. This work is international in reach covering studies from California to Nigeria and from London to Bangladesh.
Library Collection at Walden University
As a result of the growing body of social change work using the Polarities of Democracy theory, the Walden University Library has created the Polarities of Democracy Collection. This is the first collection created under the banner of their Social Change Collection, which houses scholarly output of the Walden University community in order to generate, conserve, and transform knowledge to improve human and social conditions.
